Enjoy Kid Friendly Beaches
Kauai has plenty of family friendly beaches to choose from. Some of our favorites include Poipu Beach Park, Lydgate Beach Park, Lumahai Beach, Kaheka Beach (Baby Beach), and Hanalei Pavilion Beach Park.

The Kauai Plantation Railway is a short train ride around the estate exploring gardens, vegetation, and an orchard. The guide will point out more than 50 fruits and vegetables along the way. There is even an area where you can feed donkeys, goats, and pigs which kids are sure to love. There is a train depot where you'll board a train with finely crafted wood interior. At Smith's Kauai you can take a boat ride to Fern Grotto and explore a rainforest. You'll also find a 30 acre botanical and cultural garden. Top the evening off with a luau and enjoy delicious Hawaiian food. More at: Smith's Kauai Garden Luau / Tropical Paradise
Wailua Falls is the most easily accessible, large waterfall on Kauai. It's best to go early due to limited parking on the road. More at: Wailua Falls
