Luau Kalamaku is a Hawaiian style luau located at the popular Kilohana Plantation. If you've never experienced a luau before be sure to read What Is A Luau along with our Kauai, Hawaii Luau Guide.
The experience here includes a torch lighting ceremony, a craft fair with local artisans, a buffet style feast, and an open bar. The main show will take you back to ancient times when the Polynesians were making their migration to the Hawaiian Island. Specifically, you'll learn how the Tahitians traveled along one of the longest sea roads of Polynesia and made it to the islands.
There will be plenty of Hula, amazing music, fire poi balls, and traditional fire knife dancing to keep you entertained. Even Pele - The Volcano Goddess will make an appearance along with the the fire breathing Moo-dragon as they pay homage to Kauai mythology.
In addition to an open bar serving up tropical cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, guests will enjoy a traditional luau feast. All of your favorites such as Kalua Pork, Lomi Lomi Salmon, and Teriyaki Chicken will make an appearance as will several dessert options.
