Smiths Kauai Garden Luau Tropical Paradise - Activities On Kauai Kapaa, Hawaii

Smith's Kauai Garden Luau / Tropical Paradise is a pretty unique place and it's really several things all in one. You'll find them along the Wailua River in the Kapaa area on the east side of Kaua'i. The main attraction here is the Smith Family Garden Luau which is what you would think of when you think of a Hawaiian style luau. We're talking about a feast of kalua pig cooked in an imu oven, Poi, teriyaki beef, chicken, and sides.

As you enjoy your dinner you'll watch Hula dances and hear songs, watch a Samoan fire knife dance, and then a few of your fellow diners get pulled up on stage and give everyone else a laugh. Beyond the luau is Smith's Fern Grotto Wailua River Cruise which is a slow boat tour (about 80 minutes) that takes you along two miles of the Wailua River. It's an open air boat with excellent views along the way. The boat will take you to Fern Grotto landing where you'll go on a short nature walk through the rainforest.

There's also a 30 acre botanical and cultural garden here. Enjoy a mile or so of meandering pathways that are surrounded by all sorts of lush, tropical vegetation. Some of the fruits you'll see growing include breadfruit, star fruit, and jackfruit. But wait, there's more! They also offer various wedding packages here too.
