Beth Anderson's Take
It was first opened in 1898 and produced sugar until 1996 when it was closed down. It was said to produce the "worlds best sugar". Now housing the North Shore Soap Factory - Hawaiian Bath and Body and a farmers market that runs every Saturday morning.

The Sugar Mill is a great little place on the North Shore for tourists to check out... and locals to buy some gifts and/or coffee for family. They always have coffee samples as well as local honey samples. It's a great place to buy gifts to bring back to the mainland. The have posters, coffee, peanut butter, honey, incense, candles, etc. And you can take a tour of the coffee farm!

I'm a bit biased on this one because my friend owns the North Shore Soap Factory located inside the mill. The mill itself is not extraordinary, but the soaps are.
