The new Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina is a new resort hotel in the same, but renovated, building as the former JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa at Ko'Olina. This all new resort is the first time a Four Seasons brand has come to Oahu and they couldn't have picked a better spot than the Ko Olina Resort.

Property Overview

The Four Seasons Oahu Resort offers 371 guest rooms and suites with luxury being a key ingredient in all of them. The open air lobby is grand and elegant and ocean views are available from almost everywhere on the property. Speaking of the ocean, nearby Ko Olina Marina is the place to go for a variety of boat tours and cruises.

We love that they don't charge any resort fees (see Hotel & Resort Fees & Taxes) and include a long list of complimentary items that other properties often charge for.

If you have kids, they'll love spending time at the onsite kids club called Kids For All Seasons. This is a complimentary programs for kids ages 5-12 (proof of age is required) that creates memorable and educational experiences in a casual, fun environment.

Is your kids too old for the kids club? They thought of that too with the Young Adults Center. This supervised area offers teens a place to make new friends, play video games, or watch movies.

Pool & Beach

When you need to relax and cool off, step into one of two pools on the property. The Family Pool is the perfect place to play and let the keiki (kids) splash around and do their thing.

If you're idea of a fun pool is being away from kids, then you'll want to head over to the Adult Pool which is for, you guessed it, adults only. Grab a lounge chair and a cocktail and soak up some aloha in this beautiful infinity edged pool.

Of course, you came to Hawaii for the beach, right? Well you are in luck because the Four Seasons is right on Ko Olina Lagoon 1 (Kahola Lagoon) in the Ko Olina Resort. This man-made lagoon is well protected from the open ocean and often has very gentle waves. It's a wonderful place to relax and kid friendly. Be sure to read up on Snorkeling at Ko Olina as well.

Within the Ko Olina Resort, you'll also have easy access via a beach path to Ko Olina Lagoon 2 (Honu Lagoon), Ko Olina Lagoon 3 (Nai'a Lagoon), and Ko Olina Lagoon 4 (Ulua Lagoon) which are all similar. Behind the hotel is a hidden beach known as Sacred Beach @ Lanikuhonua in Ko Olina. Right next door are Secret Beach At Lanikuhonua and Lanikuhonua (Paradise Cove) Beach and just a bit further down is another secret, hidden beach called Makaiwa Beach Park (Ko Olina Hidden Beach). That's eight beaches you can easily walk to!

If you have kids or are just a kid at heart, you'll want to take a drive to nearby Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii which is full of water slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, and all sorts of ways to get wet.

Dining

You'll find several dining options right at the Four Seasons. These include Mina's Fish House, La Hiki, Noe, Waterman Bar & Grill, and Hokulea.

You'll also have several more options at other Ko Olina resorts, including the dining options at Aulani A Disney Resort And Spa right next door. Just a short walk across the street is Ko Olina Station & Center which offers more options like Monkeypod Kitchen.

Beyond the Ko Olina Resort you'll have plenty of dining options in and around the city of Kapolei. For a complete list of restaurants around the Four Seasons click here.

Shopping

The actual resort doesn't offer much in terms of onsite shopping, though they have Caprice and Wili Wili for basic needs and resort wear. But you're in a resort that's in a resort, specifically the Ko Olina Resort, and thus you have plenty of other shopping options at nearby resorts as well as Ko Olina Station & Center which is just across the street and includes an Island Country Markets (ABC Store).

Spa

As if being at the Fours Seasons is enough pampering, how about a spa day? Check out the onsite Naupaka Spa & Wellness for a variety of luxurious facials, body treatments, and massages.

Golf

Ready to hit the links? The Ko Olina Golf Club is just a short walk away (or take the free shuttle or drive your car). This 18 hole par 72 course was designed by Ted Robinson with generous fairways, challenging greens, and gorgeous water features. It's also the current home to the LPGA Championship. You'll find a world class golf academy that can help golfers of all skill levels improve their game.

Another nearby option is the lovely Kapolei Golf Club or any of Oahu's other golf courses.

You Can Live Here. Maybe.

Part of the plan for this resort hotel was to add a new condominium tower which will bump capacity to around 550 units with around 150 of them being residences. Residences were originally scheduled to open 12-18 months after the hotel renovation is complete and some units will supposedly fetch over $10 million. As of late 2016, no construction of a new tower has been seen so we're not sure if this project has been canceled or if they simply operate on Elon Musk / Tesla Motors style schedule (running years late that is).
