A Waldorf Astoria is said to begin construction in the 3rd quarter of 2017 in the Ko Olina Resort. If everything goes according to schedule, this all new luxury resort will open in 2019 and add another high end resort between The Beach Villas at Ko Olina and Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club.
The Oahu based Waldorf Astoria will be slotted between the Ko Olina Lagoon 2 (Honu Lagoon) and Ko Olina Lagoon 3 (Nai'a Lagoon), surely with access to both beaches. The new resort will be in good company with the nearby Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, Aulani A Disney Resort And Spa, Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club, and upcoming Atlantis Resort At Ko Olina.
