The Plantation Inn - Hotels On Maui Lahaina, Hawaii

Rooms
The Plantation Inn's two buildings house 18 rooms - 14 guest rooms and 4 suites in 7 different categories. These categories are: Standard Rooms, Aloha Value Rooms, Lahaina Rooms, Lanai Rooms, The Luna Suite, The Panaewa Suite and The Kilohana Suites

Standard Rooms have one queen bed and custom interiors. Guest rooms accommodate two persons and do not have a lanai. Most are located upstairs on the second floor. The average room size is 235 square feet.

Aloha Value Rooms have one queen bed with a Hawaiian plantation decor. All rooms are upstairs, have a small balcony and sleep a maximum of two persons. The average room size is 375 square feet.

The Lahaina Room has a four-post bamboo queen bed and custom interior that accommodates a maximum of two persons. Located on the second floor this room shares a large lanai with a view of Lahaina Town. The room size is 235 square feet.

Lanai Rooms have one king bed, each with a Hawaiian Plantation era design. Double French doors open to a covered lanai - and the rooms are both ground level and upstairs on the second floor. Average room size is 400 square feet and sleeps a maximum of two people.

The Luna Suite is decorated in a Hawaiian style and features a king mahogany bed. The suite is on the second floor and shares a large lanai with a view of Lahaina Town. The suite size is 600 square feet and can accommodate up to three persons.

The Panaewa Suite features a contemporary design equipped with a full kitchen and a king bed. The sitting room has a sofa bed - and the average suite size is 600 square feet and can accommodate up to three persons.

The Kilohana Suites have a separate sitting room, microwave oven and tiled showers with glass doors and double overhead rain shower heads. The suites are located on the ground floor and second floor. Room decor is island tropical style. Suites have one king bed and can accommodate two persons. Average room size is 600 square feet with its own lanai.

All rooms are non-smoking – and amenities include daily maid service, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, in-room safe, mini-refrigerator, free wireless internet access, remote control color TV, DVD or VCR (complimentary video library), clock radio, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Additionally, most rooms have a private lanai or balcony.

On-site dining
Breakfast is included for all guests and served from 7:30 to 9:30 am in a poolside setting. Selections include Chef Gerard Reversade's gourmet French Toast, Croque Monsieur, Eggs Florentine, Gerard's special blend Mueslix along with homemade yogurt or a fresh bagel with salmon & cream cheese. To compliment the breakfast, the staff also serves fresh fruit, tropical juice and Gerard’s select roast Kona coffee.

The Plantation Inn is also home to Gerard's Restaurant. They offer Contemporary Island French Cuisine, which combines fresh products with a classic French flair. All guests receive a $50 dinner certificate to dine at Gerard's Restaurant for every night of their stay. Suggested seating is from 6-8pm. The certificate is for two persons, and single diners will receive a $25 dinner credit. Additionally, the certificate may be used only when ordering a three course meal (choice of appetizer, soup or salad, choice of entree, choice of dessert).

Pool and Recreation
The Plantation Inn has a swimming pool and an outdoor Jacuzzi.

In terms of nearby beaches, you don't really have many good options. Sure, you could walk to nearby Cheeseburger In Paradise Beach but it's nothing you'd want to swim at. Other options include Baby Beach to the north and Kamehameha Iki Park to the south.
