Kamehameha Iki Park and Kamehameha Iki Beach (also known as Armory Park) are easy to find along Front Street in the small, touristy town area of Lahaina. Just turn into the small parking lot or park on the street if it is full.
This is a good place to launch a canoe but the sandy beach here really just isn't anything special. It's a popular beach for most levels of surfing (depending on ocean conditions) but otherwise may be just average.
Still, there aren't many beach options right in this area of Lahaina so it is an option if you're feeling the need to hang out on the beach after time spent shopping in town.
It can be a decent place to watch a sunset. As for that island you'll see straight out (west), that is Lana'i island. If conditions are clear enough you might be able to spot Kahoolawe Island to the left (south) and Moloka'i to the right (northwest).
