The Aston Aloha Beach Hotel is now closed and has become the Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay.

The Aston Aloha Beach Hotel has a beachfront location on the east coast of Kauai. This 216-room beachfront hotel next to the Wailua River offers a variety of on-site dining options and each guest room, suite, or cottage has ocean or garden views. Amenities include daily maid service, refrigerators, laundry facilities, guest activities desk and many more. Their two-room cottages provide a separate sleeping and living area for added privacy and a lanai to enjoy the cool tropical breeze.

Aston Aloha Beach Hotel boasts Kauai's only protected swimming and snorkeling beach, two swimming pools, jet spa and fitness room. Also on-site are the Kuhio Lounge and the poolside Kahanu Bar & Grill.

Aston Aloha Beach Hotel has combined several services under an $18 daily amenity fee which includes: morning fruit platter, in-room WiFi internet access, in-room PlayStation 3 Blu Ray console to play DVD movies and games from unlimited access DVDNow kiosk located in the lobby area, daily in-room coffee and tea, daily newspaper, and in-room safe usage.

Other featured amenities include audiovisual equipment, a 24-hour front desk, and event facilities that include conference/meeting rooms, small meeting rooms, and banquet facilities.

Pool and Recreation
Aston Aloha Beach Hotel boasts Kauai's only protected swimming and snorkeling beach (Lydgate Beach Park), two swimming pools, jet spa and fitness room. There is also Guest Reception every Friday where guests gather in the Kuhio Lounge for live island music and complimentary pupus (appetizers). Additionally, there are Latin dance lessons and a mix of Latin dance music the first Saturday of every month.

Kids will love the nearby Lydgate Kamalani Park I as well as the slightly further (but still not far) Lydgate Kamalani Park II.

On-site Dining
There are two on-site restaurants at the Aston Aloha Beach Hotel, The Palms Restaurant and Kuhio Lounge.

The open-air award-winning The Palms Restaurant serves local favorites and traditional American fare in a setting that overlooks the property’s tropical grounds, the Wailua River and the ocean. The Palms Restaurant offers an All-American Breakfast Buffet where guests can choose from an assortment of fresh island fruit, yogurt, pastries, scrambled eggs, sausages, fresh juice and more. Dinner options include macadamia nut-crusted fresh fish, whiskey pepper steak and shrimp pesto linguine. The Palms also offer a Keiki Menu (for those 12-and-under).

Kuhio Lounge offers tropical cocktail and pupus (appetizers), and is located within the The Palms Restaurant building. The Lounge serves local pupus such as palms coco shrimp, classic buffalo wings, burgers, and chicken teriyaki, fish sandwiches and more.
