As for beach time, yes, this property is located ocean front on a stretch of Waipouli Beach Park, which is what they're calling Coconut Beach. Sure, it has plenty of sand and it's a massively long beach complete with a jogging or walking path but it's not a good swimming beach. Not only is it full of reef, which makes getting in the water very difficult, but you can also face strong currents in the water.

You'll be slightly better off at Waipouli Beach to the south (similar name, different beach) but far better off (especially with kids) taking a short drive south to Lydgate Beach Park.
