Waipouli Beach is located right in front of the Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort and Spa so it's an ideal place to enjoy Kaua'i if you're staying right here.
To get to Waipouli Beach you can park along Papaloa Road towards the west end of the beach and will find the public beach access. See our directions page and park along the street just above our map marker. The paved path is short and then there is a short slope down to the beach.
This beach is often referred to as Fuji Beach or Baby Beach as well and is different from Waipouli Beach Park. It's located behind the Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort and Spa.
The sand here is a bit different from most beaches as it's very coarse so it falls off your skin easily. The beach is very reefy and rocky so this isn't really a great swimming beach and water access would be difficult in many spots.
There are some tide pool areas that are interesting as well. For most, this isn't really a beach you would drive to or set as your destination. It's nice if you're staying nearby but if you plan to swim or set up shop for the day then this probably isn't your best bet. Also note that there are no facilities here.
