The 327 rooms at the Ohana Waikiki Malia hotel offer a decent location and an overall good value with rooms that start around the $110 per night range (even a bit cheaper in some cases).
The hotel isn't on the beach, so expect to walk about half a mile to get to Waikiki Beach (Main / Center). If you plan to spend a lot of time going to the beach this might be a bit of a hike to do over and over again. It can be a bit shorter if you cut through The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort which lands you at Royal-Moana Beach @ Waikiki.
This hotel does have a small pool and hot tub. Internet access is included but parking will run you an additional $25 per day.
