There are three Kamaole Beach Parks located in the city of Kihei in south Maui. Though they are very similar, this article is for Kamaole Beach Park III but we also have reviews for Kamaole Beach Park I and Kamaole Beach Park II (Iliiliholo Beach).
Kamaole III (or just Kam 3 as it's often called) is probably the most popular of the three Kama'ole beaches with locals. It's the smallest of the three but has the biggest grassy area and biggest parking lot as well. It's also popular with boogie boarders and there is a lifeguard here.
Smaller kids may like the swing set even if that thrill doesn't last long, but at least it gives them one extra thing to enjoy while here.
All beaches in Hawaii end up being busier on weekends when the locals come out to play, but that seems to be especially true here. Of the three Kamaole beaches, this is our favorite.
