The origin of the Kohea Kai Resort Maui LGBT Resort formally the Maui Sunseeker is steeped in a firm belief of non-discrimination and personal freedom for sexual identity and all individuality. While they cater to the discerning LGBT traveler, everyone is welcome here.
Hawaii's largest LGBT Resort is located right on Maui's south coast in Kihei. They are an adults-only property with clothing optional pool / hot tub areas and rooftop deck. Their demographic is currently about 50% gay men, 35% lesbian women and 15% straight, bisexual, or transgender individuals. Rooms have ocean or garden views with private lanais, with Junior Suites and above boasting full gourmet kitchens.
Additional amenities include free parking and daily housekeeping as well as free use of beach chairs, towels, and ice filled coolers.

Accommodations at Kohea Kai Resort Maui LGBT include: Standard Studio, Junior Suite, Full Suite, Oceanview Penthouse and Oceanfront Penthouse. There are private lanais with either garden or ocean views - and all rooms and suites are non-smoking (smoking is permitted on the resort grounds).
Guest room amenities vary and include: Free Wi-Fi, complete gourmet kitchen that includes cookware, tableware, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, full-size or mini refrigerator and stove, large HD flat panel TV with Dish Network, A/C, ceiling fans, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, California King bed, and bathroom with shower / indoor Jacuzzi tub.
Pool and Recreation
Kohea Kai Resort Maui LGBT offers a clothing optional roof deck with jacuzzi, as well as a healthier saline pool to enjoy. There’s also an activities’ desk and free use of beach chairs, towels, and ice filled coolers are provided.
The Kohea Kai Resort Maui is located at the south end of Kenolio Beach and is just a bit north of, and a short walk to, Kalepolepo Beach Park and Waipuilani Beach.
Spa Services
Massages are provided by one of their male or female therapists. All massages take place on the property in their massage studio.
