Kenolio Beach is right along South Kihei Road in Kihei but it's still far north enough that the winds can blow through here pretty good.
There is a lot of sand churned up in the waters near the shore and there are some pretty rocky areas as well. Because of that, it's often not a great beach for hanging out or swimming but a good stop if you are looking to hunt for sea glass, shells, and ocean treasure. Kids will enjoy it for that.
It's a long beach too and really doesn't get busy. If you are just going for the beach you can park along the road where allowed.
On the other side of the road is Kenolio Park & Recreational Complex with sports courts, grassy fields, and so on. You'll find a large parking lot there as well. From South Kihei turn onto Uwapo Road and then again on Kenolio Road to find the lot.
