The Sports Bar is located in the Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay, right next to the front desk. It's open for lunch, dinner, and later into the evening and features a few large screen televisions as well as free to play pool tables, table shuffleboard, and even some Xbox 360 game consoles.

It's a very casual atmosphere and one that might get loud during peak seasons if you get a lot of sports fans in there. There are couches and tables to choose from and kids are welcome here.

They are open for breakfast but they only serve quick items like muffins and pastries right at the bar. Lunch and dinner are table service and we found the service was overall very good but sort of hit or miss. We ate here a few times and some servers were excellent, a couple were nothing of the sort.

Most of the food is actually quite good. The Kalua BBQ sandwich ($25.00) was ridiculously good. Our kids loved the corn dogs (appetizer, 3 dogs for $16.00). The nachos with shredded pork were excellent as well. We also tried the sweet chili wings ($16.00) and some were actually cold. The French dip ($24.00) had a good taste but was super greasy (we think over buttered on the bun) and had a lot of fat in the meat and they didn't put the sauce on the side like we had asked.

The Sports bar is expensive for what you are getting, but it's one of the cheaper options in Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay and sometimes it's easier to just eat at the hotel rather than going into town which is how we ended up here a few times. A super tiny, though strong, Mai Tai was $14.00. Welcome to Lana'i! At least they have free (self-serve) popcorn here. Oh wait, that just made me thirsty...oh, waiter!

One neat thing we learned about The Sports Bar (only on our last day) is that they have all of the menus for all of the other restaurants at the hotel. Want to eat at One Forty American Steak, Hawaiian Seafood from a couch or simply don't want to sit through a long meal like that with kids? Order your steak right from The Sports Bar. Genius, though they don't tell you this so you have to ask for the menus.

If the service and food quality was more consistent and the prices weren't so insane then we'd have no problems rating this restaurant as perfect. Unfortunately, the services wasn't great every time and some of the food items were a little gross (which is unacceptable at this price range) and the prices are just ridiculous (even when we factor that this is a high end resort on a tiny island).

Fix those three issues and this place would be excellent, until then it's just 3.5 stars.
