Four Seasons Resort Lanai The Lodge At Koele - Hotels On Lanai Lanai City, Hawaii

The Lodge at Koele is a really nice hotel and one of only two large hotels on the entire island, the other being the Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay which is a sister property and even offers shuttle service between the two hotels. That's handy if you want to visit a beach, which will really be Hulopo'e Bay Beach Park since it's the most accessible, because The Lodge at Koele is located in the middle of the island.

The Lodge very much has a lodgey-feeling to it with a bit of a plantation look. It's dark, has a lot of dark woods, it's fairly quiet, and has a lot of place to sit and contemplate the meaning of life. I found it very peaceful overall.

There are a few restaurants on site as well which are The Dining Room, Terrace, and The Bar.

There is one pool and hot tub here as well, but both are fairly small and nothing to get excited about. They'll get the job done but your kids won't be terribly pleased.

Speaking of kids, while they're certainly welcome here and you will see kids at this hotel it's not exactly filled with stuff for kids. In addition to the lackluster pool area, it just feels like it is geared a bit more for adults. The Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay is a much better choice if you have kids where The Lodge at Koele is great if you prefer more peace and quiet and don't have kids.

Overall though, it's really nice place to be and the staff here seem to be very friendly and helpful.
