Helena's is a super popular restaurant that offers some of the island's best Hawaiian cuisine. Tender laulau, tasty short ribs, and smoky kalua pork. You'll find two locations on Oahu, one is the Highway Inn in Honolulu and the other is Highway Inn in Waipahu which you may have seen on Food Network's show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives (or Triple D as fans know it). Guy Fieri simply discovered what many Oahu residents already knew, that this is a great place to get some well crafted Hawaiian cuisine.
Even if we didn't love the food here, we'd probably come for the friendly atmosphere and service. But the good news is that we love the food as well! Lau Lau, Beef Stew, Lomi Salmon, and some amazing Kalua Pork Slides are just a few of the reasons you should eat here. More at: Kehau's Kitchen
For many, Boots & Kimo's is the number one place to go for pancakes. But if breakfast isn't your thing they have a huge lunch menu filled with Hawaiian favorites too. Try the Pulehu Ribs, Tender Teriyaki Beef, or the Mahi Mahi. And, yes, you saw this one featured on Triple D as well! More at: Boots & Kimo's Homestyle Kitchen
This is Hawaiian cuisine with a trendy, upscale twist and was also featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Enjoy some Garlic Ahi, Kalua Pork Sandwich, or a Poke Bowl made with fresh, island caught Ahi. Either way, prepare your taste buds for a treat. More at: Uahi Island Grill

You'll find Tita's over in Kahuku near all those famous shrimp trucks but Tita's is also a popular spot for garlic shrimp, as well as garlic chicken, plate lunches. We also love their Kalbi Ribs. Either way, expect a lot of food for a fair price. More at: Tita's Grill And Catering
