Located next to Boots & Kimo's Homestyle Kitchen, Uahi Island Grill is a local favorite for Hawaiian island style cooking. The restaurant inside is pretty small so it tends to get pretty busy around meal times, especially on weekends. We were seated quickly and I ordered the Kalua Pork plate which came with a side of rice and a side of veggies.
The pork was very good and tender and not too salty. It was a large plate of food that completely filled me up and only cost $9.00. My soda added $2 for a grand total around $11.50 with tax (before tip). That's a bargain! Service is fast and friendly. I was able to sample some of the fish dishes as well and could see myself coming back for more in the future.
Excellent food, excellent prices. I have no complaints what-so-ever.
