Aloha Sub - Restaurants On Oahu Kapolei, Hawaii

We've been waiting for a good sub sandwich restaurant in Kapolei for quite some time now. Sure, we've had other options and some of them are quite good, but we wanted something a little different. We're huge fans of Storto's Deli and Sandwich Shoppe but don't always like driving across the island to go there.

Enter Aloha Sub which opened it's doors in Kapolei on August 22, 2015. They serve a sandwich that is exactly like we've been wanting here for quite some time. The menu has many sandwich configurations to choose from and the subs come in 8 inch or 16 inch sizes. Most of the 8 inch subs are $8 with some being an extra dollar or two. If you're new to Hawaii note that these are very fair prices, especially for what you get. These aren't those tiny $5 foot longs those other guys make.

I went for the Diamond Head which had turkey, salami, pepperoni, cheese, and a salad bowl full of veggies on it all for $8. Add in chips and a drink for another $2.50 and you have a pretty cheap meal. On top of that, it's a lot of food. The bread is incredibly fresh and soft and really makes the sandwich. The meats taste good and the veggies were all fresh.

We're quite happy that this new sub shop checks out and hope they'll be around for a long time to come. It's also a great option for those in the Ko Olina Resort who want to find some cheap eats for a change. I'm already planning a return visit
