The Moleka Trail is a short, 0.75 mile out and back style hiking trail. You'll find the trailhead right on Round Top Drive in Honolulu, directly across the street from the Manoa Cliff Trail. In fact, if you started the Manoa Cliff Trail from the higher end and worked your way down then the Moleka Trail is almost a continuation of Manoa Cliff Trail.

Getting here is easy, see our the map pinpoint on our directions page for the trailhead. Park on the side of the road and you'll find the trailhead right at the parking area.

This isn't a difficult hike and only has about a 300 foot change in elevation. If you just walk this trail, it's going to be 1.5 miles round trip.

At the other end it will intersect with the Makiki Valley Loop Trail / Makiki Valley Trail. If you turn left at that intersection you'll be back on Round Top Drive and very close to Pu'u Ualaka'a State Wayside Park (with an amazing lookout). If you head right on the Makiki Valley Loop Trail / Makiki Valley Trail you'll have plenty of other trails to explore but will still need to work your way back to the Moleka Trail if you parked at the trailhead.
