Nukoli'i Beach Park is a huge, two mile stretch of sand just south of Lydgate Beach Park. It stretches passed the Wailua Municipal Golf Course and the Aqua Kauai Beach Resort.
Swimming at Nukoli'i Beach isn't very good unless it's really calm, and even then the best area is in the middle near the golf course. Snorkeling might be okay if you have very calm seas, otherwise not so much.
The easiest access is south of the Aqua Kauai Beach Resort. From Kuhio Highway, head east on Kauai Beach Drive, then turn right onto Kauai Beach Road (first paved road and right turn you'll see). Follow it down and around to the end. This is also where the bathrooms and showers are located.
This southern end of the beach is also quite reefy which makes getting in the water difficult. It's best to head further north up the beach to find a better spot.
