When your in Kahuku, and your in the mood for something else besides shrimp from Romy's Kahuku Prawns & Shrimp Inc. or Giovanni's Shrimp Truck, head over to the open area on the east side where all the stands are set up. In the back, you'll see Woody's BBQ Corn. Actually, just follow the smell - you'll get there. Woody's basically has 2 ways of preparing the corn. First is Baja Style with butter, mayonnaise, lemon-lime juice, some special baja style seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. That's my favorite. The second is "Island Style" with butter, black pepper, sea salt, and garlic.
Kahuku corn is special to this area. It's sweet, tasty, and you should give it a try. Woody's does it right.
