My friend raved about this restaurant so we went there for lunch on a Saturday. It was pretty empty. I'm not sure why it was empty - was it a slow weekend or something else?
I ordered Pad Keemau which is stir fried flat rice noodles with egg, bamboo shoot slices, broccoli, carrots, bell pepper, long bean, cabbage, Thai basil and mushroom soy sauce. I ordered it with tofu but it came with chicken instead, so I sent it back. When they brought it back, it looked like they picked the chicken pieces out and cook the whole thing again with tofu. Needless to say all the vegetables and noodles were totally over cooked. It was like eating canned vegetables. And it was too salty for me. It was one of the worst Thai meals I've ever eaten. And the portions were pretty small too. Come on!
My friends ordered Pad Thai and Ground Meat Salad. They said it was pretty good - so go figure. I wanted to give one star but I'm averaging it out with my friend's experience so giving it 2.5 stars. If you're on the west side of Oahu, a better choice would be to try Thai Lao Restaurant in Kapolei. Much better Thai food.
