Pohaku Park, Pohaku Beach, or it's more common name of S-Turns, is a tiny beach in Lahaina just a bit north of the Kaanapali area.
It's a popular place for surfers but not really a place that's inviting to swim since the water isn't all that great here. There is a large drainage ditch that runs from the mountains right through the middle of this beach so that could be why.
Pohaku Park has a small parking area located right on Lower Honoapiilani Road, just north of our map marker. It's a tiny lot so it can fill up fast so you might be able to park further down by the sand on the side of the road.
This place has decent amenities with picnic tables and BBQ grills so it's nice for a picnic or just to watch the sunset. It does have showers but the bathroom is just a port-a-potty so use that at your own risk.
