The Miramar at Waikiki is located on Kuhio Avenue, so it's about a four block walk away from the ocean. If you head straight towards the ocean you'll end up at the lovely Waikiki Beach (Main / Center).
This hotel seemed a bit rough around the edges and that's probably a big reason as to why it is now closed (as of January 31, 2014).
Developers should be working out the details on what will become of this building and/or property lot soon enough.
