The Halekulani hotel is located right in the middle of the overall Waikiki area and is fairly high up on the upscale / luxury side of the hotel world. If you want to be pampered then this might be the hotel for you.
The Halekulani is located right on Gray's Beach @ Waikiki, which is sort of a small and less visited section of Waikiki Beach. You'll, of course, have easy acces to plenty of other sections of Waikiki that are all a stone's throw away as well.
The Halekulani is also known for their high end spa experiences which make a great place to really unwind.
On the dining front, you'll find several options here. La Mer offers you an experience in French cuisine. Orchids is casual ocean side dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. House Without A Key is an open air restaurant with nightly music. Lewers Lounge and L'Aperitif Cocktail Bar offer up all sorts of cocktail options.
