The Maui Banyan Resort offers 256 condos in several buildings. Many at the entrance are two-story, low rise while the three larger buildings behind are four or five stories. The resort is directly across from Kamaole Beach Park II (Iliiliholo Beach) in South Kihei. If you want to walk the beach, at low tide you can walk north or south toward Wailea for several miles right on the beach. The south side of the beach has a tide pool area - great for hunting crabs, starfish etc. You can also swim, body surf when the wind is right and snorkel along the reefs.
Maui Banyan has tennis courts, two pools and two jet spas, and you can simply stroll to shops and restaurants. A putting green, tennis court, BBQ areas, and free parking are also on site, and you can enjoy free WiFi internet connection from the condominium or from either of the pool areas. They also provide a welcome amenity basket, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie board, umbrella and a cooler.
Rooms
Rooms are good size and most have been renovated - and feature fully equipped kitchens, cable TV, washer / dryer, air conditioning, a private lanai and telephones. Other amenities include free WiFi, air conditioning, kitchenette with coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, fridge, flat screen TV, DVD Player with Hawaiian music CD's, Calvin Klein Signature Duvet, hair dryer, and iron and ironing board.
