The Royal Lahaina Resort is a 27-acre resort that’s set on Ka'anapali Beach, which was voted "America's Best Beach". This non-smoking resort seeks to answer all your needs with a restaurant, three bars, a sundry store, and an ice cream parlor.

Rooms
Each contemporary room in this resort pays tribute to the Islands with custom teak furnishings, hand-selected paintings and photographs, and a soft palette that plays counterpoint to the spectacular tropical setting. For a truly local option there are also beach cottages situated amid tropical gardens and sprawling oceanfront lawns. Accommodations include cottages, guest rooms, suites and the royal beach house.

Royal Lahaina Resort's 333 guest rooms are located in the 12-story Lahaina Kai Tower, and feature 330 square feet of living space with one king bed or two double beds. Maximum number of guests is four, including adults and children. They offer the following room view types: Standard Room, Partial Ocean, Ocean, Deluxe Ocean, and Ocean Front views.

Their 17 one-bedroom suites feature ocean front views of Kahekili Beach Park – and is located at the corners of the resort's 12-story Lahaina Kai Tower, with each suite offering a living area and separate bedroom (with one king bed and a sofa bed). Each one-bedroom suite features 790 square feet and accommodates up to four people, including children. The two-bedroom suites are their one-bedroom suites connected with an ocean view guestroom. With 1,120 square feet of living space - these suites are cater to guests who need a little more space. Bedding is one king, two double beds, and a sofa bed. Maximum occupancy is six guests, including children. They also offer 1-Bedroom Molokai Suites, 2-Bedroom Molokai Suites, 1-Bedroom Lanai Suites, and 2-Bedroom Lanai Suites. The amenities are the same as the guest rooms – however, there’s a soaking tub (lanai suites only) in addition to a shower.

Cottage rooms are located ground level with views of either the resort gardens or the Kaanapali coastline. Cottage rooms accommodate up to four guests, including adults and children, with one king or two double beds. Located on the second floor, one-bedroom cottages feature garden or oceanfront views. These units offer a bedroom, two bathrooms, a separate living area, a kitchenette and two lanais. Their one-bedrooms can accommodate up to six guests including adults and children, with one king bed, a queen size sofa bed, and a double day bed. Their two-bedroom garden cottages are located ground level with views of the resort gardens – and these units feature an over-sized lanai, a kitchenette, three bathrooms, a separate living area, and two bedrooms. The units can accommodate up to eight guests including adults and children with one king bed, two double beds, and a queen size sofa bed. Their two-bedroom oceanfront junior suite is located ground level with views of the Pacific. This suite offers a private lanai with mini refrigerator, two bedrooms with sitting areas, and two bathrooms. This suite can accommodate up to six guests including adults and children with two double beds and a king bed. Amenities for these cottages are similar to those of the suites.

For an even more secluded and romantic retreat, there’s their 1,600 square foot Royal Beach House. This two-bedroom, three-bath private cottage flows into its own secluded, private playground. Here, you can relax in your own garden sanctuary and immerse yourself in the swimming pool or indulge in the steamy hot tub, with the blue Pacific and your own flowing waterfall as backdrops. With exclusive beach access, you can also lounge on the golden sand in the warm Maui sun or gaze at the explosion of stars at night in the crystal-clear sky. Bedding includes one king bed and two double beds. Maximum occupancy is six, including adults and children. The amenities are similar to the previously mentions rooms with the addition of private backyard with beach access, a full kitchen, private swimming pool with Jacuzzi and waterfall, built-in bar on lanai and a barbecue area.

On-site Dining
There are five on-site choices to satisfy your craving: Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant & Lounge, The Royal Scoop, Beach Bar, Royal Trading Company and the Royal Lahaina Resort Luau.

The Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant & Lounge serves Hawaiian Regional specialties in a casual, open-air setting overlooking the crystal blue Pacific and the neighboring islands of Lanai and Molokai. Each evening at sunset a traditional torch lighting ceremony is presented and throughout dinner service a graceful hula dancer and solo musician perform Hawaiian classics. A la carte and buffet breakfast as well as complete dinner and cocktail service are available daily.

Open daily, the Royal Scoop offers local Maui-made ice cream and frozen yogurt plus a variety of continental breakfast items, specialty coffees, and deli sandwiches.

The Beach Bar is located next to the cottage pool and offers a wide variety of refreshing cocktails to indulge in while relaxing poolside or on the beach.

Royal Trading Company is a resort store that offers sundries, locally-made gifts and foods, apparel, books, a Keiki Corner for kids, and an extensive wine collection. Gourmet grab-n-go items are made fresh daily by the resort's chef.

Presented throughout the week, the Royal Lahaina Resort Luau is a celebration of the food, music, dance and traditional festivities of Hawaii and the Polynesian Islands. Here, you can enjoy an open bar and an all you can eat buffet with traditional island fare and delicacies.

Royal Lahaina Resort has a wide range of recreational activities to choose from.
