Kapalua Bay Beach is a gorgeous beach in the Lahaina area of west Maui. It's easy to see why Kapalua Bay is so highly rated by locals and visitors alike. This is a classic Hawaiian beach in every way. Classic crescent shape? Check. Clear, blue waters? Check. Amazing views? Check. It's just an all around great beach.
For parking, drive along Lower Honoapiilani Road just south of the bay and you'll see a blue shoreline access sign right near the Sea House Restaurant where you can park. Just make sure you've followed all parking signs correctly so you're not in the wrong lot.
The water here is beautiful. It's often very clear, blue, and inviting. It's a great beach for swimming or just relaxing and enjoying the great views.
Snorkeling here can be good as well since the water is usually calm. The bay is protected by a coral reef and rock outcrops on both sides of the bay. As for facilities, there are nice bathrooms and showers here along with a beach walk but little shade.
