Polo Beach is located right behind the lovely Fairmont Kea Lani Maui in the Wailea area of south Maui. The parking situation here is pretty decent which is surprising compared to other beaches around here.
To get here from Wailea Alanui Drive, turn towards the ocean on Kaukahi Street and you'll see some street parking along the way and also a parking lot all the way at the end on your right. Our map / directions page will take you right here.
Once parked, walk through the lot toward the sidewalk / path that will the take you down to the ocean. You'll pass the bathrooms and showers along the way.
The north end of the beach (to your right) will be a bit more crowded with guests form the Fairmont Kea Lani Maui while the south end (to your left) is likely to be less crowded.
It's a very nice beach no matter where you park your butt for the day and there are even some shady areas to be had (depending on the time of day, etc). Overall, it's just a very pleasant beach.
