The Fat Greek - Restaurants On Oahu Honolulu, Hawaii

Located in in the Ala Moana Center food court (first floor) is a tiny booth version of The Fat Greek restaurant which serves up quick style Greek food.

The gyros here are excellent! They've come up in price a bit to $9.95 for a single gyro (up from around $7!) or $12.95 for a combo (with Greek salad and rice). While that price isn't too bad, they don't give you a ton of meat on the gyro so adding extra meat is the way to go (though it's pricey at a $3 upgrade).

I like that the gyros aren't greasy, well, relatively speaking at least. Try a side of their hot sauce on your gyro, it's delicious and is a great combo even if hot sauce on a gyro sounds a little strange.

The hummus was excellent as well but didn't come with nearly enough pita bread slices for the large scoop of hummus that you get. The staff were very friendly so our only real complaint is the lack of meat included on the sandwiches. I don't mind paying a higher price but if I'm going to do that you'd better give me a filling sandwich.
