Kailani is located right next to the pool at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay. For lunch they serve up sandwiches, burgers, fish tacos, bar food, and that sort of thing. For lunch they change the menu and serve Italian food.
We tried Kailani for lunch and I ordered their chicken club wrap ($21.00) and it was delicious and all around perfect but just not worth $21.00.
Beth tried the fish tacos ($25.00) which had the most tender mahimahi we've ever had and they were delicious as well. Still, three tacos for $25.00? Not as ridiculous as the chicken wrap pricing but still really high even for hotel food.
Kids meals were $9.00 each and then $4.00 for each fruit punch drink. Literally twice what would be considered fair even at a place like this. I ordered a Pepsi and got a 12 ounce can for $5.00. Yes, a can of soda for $5.00!
Good food, good service, ridiculous prices. Welcome to the Four Seasons! It's a classic situation of a resort that controls all of the food options and if you don't like them the nearest other options are 7+ miles away in town (and most people don't get a rental car). You just can't help feeling like they got you and and they know it. If the prices were fair it would be 4.5 stars, but since they are not 3.5 is the best I can do here.
