Commonly referred to as Punchbowl, the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific is a memorial cemetery that honors those who have served in the United States Armed Forces and sits in Punchbowl Crater.
It's fairly close to the Waikiki area so worth the quick drive to check it out and is full of information, tiled artwork, memorials, and an amazing lookout at the top which has great ocean views of Honolulu.
The cemetery portion is very well kept up, quiet, and peaceful but the bottom line is that it's a cemetery so not really a major attraction but interesting to drive through and see.
When you're done, take a drive through Tantalus and Round Top Hill Drive too!
The movie Battleship was filmed here as well as TV series Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I., and Hawaii Five-O Reboot.
