The Waikiki Roughwater Swim is considered to be one of the top 50 Open Water Swims in the world. The 2.4 mile swim starts at Kaimana / Sans Souci Beach @ Waikiki near Diamond head and heads west to Kahanamoku Beach @ Waikiki near the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. Nearly 1,000 people participate in the event every year.
