Roadside, small beach with great swimming when things are calm.
Features
Not to be confused with Oahu's Sandy Beach (Koko Head Park), Molokai's Sandy beach is quite a bit different. It's located on the southeast side of Molokai and is a small beach. When things are calm it's actually a good beach for swimming and the water here will be nice and clear.
The beach is protected from strong ocean currents by an offshore reef though caution is still needed as rip currents can form along the south end. The beach is located after Rock Point near mile marker 22, and it's the last sand beach before Halawa Beach Park. It's located right next to the road and hard to miss.
