Luau Makaiwa is a Hawaiian style luau show and dinner located at the Courtyard by Marriott Kauai at Coconut Beach. This oceanfront luau strives to be more than just a traditional luau with hula kahiko (ancient hula) dances performed under the direction of a kumu hula (hula master). Enjoy a journey through Kauai, Samoa, Tahiti, and New Zealand while you feast on a buffet dinner. The evening starts with a cocktail reception along with cultural arts and exhibitions. There is a torch lighting ceremony along with an open bar (until the show starts).
