Grove Farm provides an authentic look at Kauai's sugar cane heritage. George Wilcox, the son of missionary teachers, acquired the one hundred acre Grove Farm back in 1864 and today it's well preserved and maintained.
Guided tours are available with advanced reservations and will allow you to see the main house, owner's cottage, guest cottage, old office, and plantation housing camps. These unhurried, two-hour tours are a great way to experience what life was like back in the plantation days and will provide plenty of interesting facts.
They request a donation of $20 for adults and $10 for keiki (5-12) to take the tour. The farm is located in Lihue and easy to find, see our map pinpoint.
