Koloa History Center is located at the Historic Old Koloa Town and is in the town where Kauai's sugar business began. This small museum celebrates that history with various photos and artifacts that tell the story of life in Koloa in the plantation era.

This is an incredibly small, open air museum that is interesting but doesn't have a lot to of exhibits. There are photographs and artifacts like an old barber's chair and a sewing machine, but not a lot else. It's too small and really doesn't have much to offer. It would be nice to see more artifacts and information in here but at least it's free!

There's certainly more of a story to be told here and I really enjoy learning about Hawaii's history. It's not a destination by any means, but if you're in the area for the various shops or restaurants then walk over and see for yourself.
