Tacochino - Restaurants On Oahu Kapolei, Hawaii

TacoChino is a Taco Truck that serves $1.50 pork tacos. They also serve chicken tacos ($2.50) and steak tacos ($3.00) as well as burritos and quesadillas. It's nice to have some cheap food trucks on Oahu's west side for a change. It's usually every other part of the island that gets all of the food truck love.

They're usually at Kapolei Regional Park (see map pin point) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for lunch. Check their Facebook page for their exact location each week to be safe.

The tacos are in corn tortillas but small than your standard corn tortilla. The $1.50 pork are a great price and really tasty. The steak, at twice the price, is the best. Chicken was really good, but not as good as the pork and steak. I'd still happily eat more of them though!

The quesadilla was quite large and, for $7.00, comes stuffed with cheese and your choice of chicken, pork, or steak ($1 more). A fair deal for sure. In fact, 3 tacos, 1 quesadilla, and 2 bottles of Jarritos (Mexican fruit flavored soda) came out to $19 total. That was plenty of food for two us.

Get your food to-go or just eat at one of the benches or picnic tables right here at Kapolei Regional Park. So, to sum it all up: Delicious tacos, friendly guys in the truck, very fair prices. What more could you ask for? I know I'll be back. Soon!
