Kapolei Regional Park has many sports fields which are usually being used for soccer, and football. There is plenty of open space to have large gatherings and hang out.
There is also newly added playground equipment that is best for children ages 5 to 12 years old or so. It is best to go in the morning before it gets too crowded, or too hot as the playground area isn't very shady.
There is plenty of parking in both a lot and on the street. There bathrooms have running water and are usually stocked with toilet paper. The rest of the park is a huge grassy field with plenty of shady tree areas.
