Miloli'i Beach Park is located in the Captain Cook on Hawaii's Big Island, past the end of the pavement on Highway 11, past mile marker #89.
The drive down is slow and the road is not good so use caution and take your time. You will be driving through residential areas so watch for kids as well.
The beach here won't offer much sand but it's a peaceful place to relax and hang out. On weekends it will likely be very busy with locals. Visiting during the week is a better bet. Regardless of when you go, be respectful to those who live here.
Snorkeling can be good when the ocean is calm but should only be done by those that are confident with entering and exiting the ocean currents. Surfing can be good here as well.
The trail to Honomalino Bay starts here at the bright yellow church.
