Features
The Volcano Art Center is a nonprofit educational center founded in 1974 that now operates a fine art gallery that showcases the artwork of over 300 local artists. They also offer various programs for both keiki and adults.
They're located on the Big Island and just a stones throw east of the still active Kilauea volcano at the Volcano House Hotel. Sales of artwork purchased from their gallery supports the local artists and Volcano community and helps them continue their mission of art education, forest restoration, and artist development programs.
