The Waipi'o Valley is found in the Honokaa of Hawaii's Big Island and is home to hiking trails, a black sand beach, waterfalls, and an amazing lookout.
Your first stop in Waipi'o Valley is to head over to the Waipio Valley Lookout which will offer some of the most spectacular views you'll find anywhere on the Big Island.
If you're looking for adventure and are up for a hike consider the Muliwai Trail To Waimanu Valley. This is a long and moderately difficult hike that isn't for everyone. A slightly easier (and far shorter) version of the hike involves a trip down from the Waipio Valley Lookout to the Waipi'o Beach.
Various adventure tour companies also offers tours of the area by helicopter, foot, and even horse.
