Ka'U Coffee Mill's retail store provides free tours of the coffee orchards, milling, and roasting. Products available include a wide variety of fine Ka'u coffee, macadamia nuts, art, and gifts all from local artists and producers.
Since the retail stores grand opening in May 2012 they have quadrupled their sales in a single year. Guests are greeted welcomed to free tours, samples, and unique items for sale found nowhere else on the island.
Ka'u Coffee Mill, LLC is a major, fundamental sponsor of the Ka'u Coffee Festival, which is held in May and runs for 10 days. They are currently building a 400w hydroelectric plant to fully power all operations via renewable energy.
