Shangri La was built in 1936, it overlooks the Pacific ocean, and was built by Doris Duke.
She had it built as a seasonal home after her wedding in Hawaii in 1935. The house is 14,000 square feet.
It now houses Doris Duke's collection of Islamic art.
The house has been recognized as one of the most architecturally significant homes in Hawaii.
Today it is part of the Honolulu Museum of Art as one of the places that you can tour.
