Sea life Park is in need of some serious updates. Lots of exhibits were closed and the ones that were open were OK.

Some of the positives:
The touch pools were kind of cool, the kids got to feed tangs lettuce. And A worker held a baby sea turtle and let the kids pet it's shell. That was pretty neat. The dolphin show is entertaining and they have a walfin, which is a half whale half dolphin, I think it's one of the only ones in the world. The bird exhibit is kind of fun, there are a ton of cockatiels and lovebirds flying around in there and they give you sticks of millet treat so the birds will come flying up right on you or your hand.

Some of the negatives:
As I mentioned, some of the exhibits were closed. I don't know if they were being repaired or if they were permanently closed.

The guy who lets you take pictures with the parrots, he is so very rude, I have never met such a horrible person that worked in a park for families. He has a sign up that says one dollar for pictures and then he yelled at my kids because the one dollar for pictures is you have to pay one dollar to have the bird in your photo or take a photo of the bird. If you want a picture with a bird on you that's a whole other thing, which I understand but there was no need to yell at my kids because your sign was misleading and they just tried to take a picture of the pretty birds. He was very unprofessional and very rude! Avoid him or doing business with him at any cost.

Then we ate at the restaurant on site. They have quite a nice menu, lots of selection. Everyone in my party got cheeseburgers and french fries and they were pretty happy with them. I ordered the fish plate and my food did not come out with theirs, then they told me they forgot my food after I waited and asked where it might be. Then the rest of my party left to go watch the dolphin show that was starting and I stayed at the restaurant waiting for my food. Finally after about 15 to 20 minutes I asked someone if it was ready yet and apparently it was ready but nobody brought it to me so my rice is hard and my fish was super rubbery. Anyway, I ended up with crappy food and missing almost the whole dolphin show.

I thought there was more than that? Yes, disappointed with the Sea Life Park, very small. Wasn't to impressed with prices either. Would rather pay to go out on a boat and see the sea life than go there again. Wasn't the greatest but wasn't bad. Glad I took a look, but won't go back again.

If I'm gonna be honest, I was really disappointed to see how TINY Sea Life Park was. After feeding the birds and taking photos of the turtles, there really isn't much to do but wait for the shows to start. (Unless, of course, you pay the ridiculously high price to feed and swim with the dolphins.) I got bored after walking around the first 5 minutes. The only good part of my day here was watching the dolphin shows, which I rate an 8/10. Other than that, Sea Life Park is in desperate need of a makeover- A bigger park would definitely change my 3 stars to a 5!
