Royal Grove Hotel And Apartments - Hotels On Oahu Honolulu, Hawaii

I don't know where to begin with this one. This is a hotel / apartment building with six stories in the Waikiki area. Their website actually reads "one of the prettiest of Waikiki's small hotels" and I can't imagine how many decades ago that could have been true.

It is a low budget hotel so I am trying to keep the price in mind here, but the entire property feels very old and very outdated. Speaking of prices, you can expect to pay around $60 to $100 per night here (cheaper for weekly or longer rates) so that might give you some idea as to the type of property that this is. They do offer hotel style room cleaning services but only twice a week.

They do have a pool. The entire place is family owned which is unique and something I really like the idea of. It seems to attract the retirement crowd mostly. The lobby area had people playing cards and games which is nice to see.

It felt like a nice little community of people who were having a good time. So when I read "Lots of Aloha for a small price at this one" on their website I can easily agree with that. It does have a decent location. If you walk two blocks towards the ocean you'll be right at the middle of Waikiki Beach (Main / Center) and Kuhio Beach Park @ Waikiki.

If you are on an extremely limited budget then it might be hard to find a cheaper place than this in Waikiki. If you've ever enjoyed a brand name hotel like a Hyatt, Hilton, or Marriott then this probably isn't a place where you would want to stay.
