Ala Wai Yacht Harbor is located at the west end of the Waikiki area, right behind the Prince Waikiki and right next to Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. It is the largest small boat harbor in the state of Hawaii.
The Harbor contains of 699 berths, 85 moorings, 1 boat ramp, 22 dry storage spaces and accommodate vessels up to 85 feet in length.
Both the Waikiki Yacht Club and Hawaii Yacht Club call the harbor home. You've probably seen it in many TV shows over the years such as Magnum P.I., Hawaii Five-O, Lost, and it was used in the opening scene of Gilligan's Island where the the S.S. Minnow leaves port for their three hour tour.
