Nawiliwili Beach Park is popular with locals, especially on weekends. It's a good place for a picnic and has a large grassy field where kids can run around and play. As for the beach, there really isn't any sandy beach here at all.
Of course, Kalapaki Beach is right next door so you can just walk right to that beach when you want to swim or play in the water.
This park is right next to Nawiliwili Harbor which is where the larger cruise ships pull in and dock so you do tend to get a lot of tourists passing through this area when a ship comes in. On that note, if you're coming in on a ship this is where you'll start at.
